Plugixa Chauffeur
Taking a ride booking by phone or contact form means quoting by hand, chasing details and hoping the price you said is the price that gets paid. Plugixa Chauffeur turns that into a booking wizard on your own site: the customer picks a service, enters the trip, sees a fare for each vehicle, and books.
Every fare comes from your vehicles: a base price, a rate per distance, a rate per hour and a minimum fare. The price is calculated on the server for the quote and again for the booking, pickup times are checked against your lead time, business hours and blackout dates, and card payments go through Stripe Checkout, confirmed by Stripe’s signed webhook.
Behind it is an admin built for running a fleet day to day: a dashboard, bookings as a list and a calendar, vehicles, vehicle types and locations. Pro adds drivers, pricing rules, flat-rate routes, reports and printable invoices.

Features
Everything you need
A booking your customer can finish alone
One step at a time, with the fare in view before the customer types their name.
-
One shortcode
Each booking form has its own shortcode. Copy it from the form page and paste it on any page.
-
Four clear steps
The trip, the vehicle, the customer's details, and a review with the payment method.
-
A fare for every vehicle
The quote lists each vehicle that fits the trip with its total, so the customer chooses with the price in front of them.
-
Return transfers
A booking can be one-way or a return. A return doubles the distance part of the fare.
-
Hand-written, small script
The wizard is plain JavaScript with one stylesheet. It does not load a framework on your public pages.
Fares you set once, per vehicle
The same calculation produces the quote and the booking, and it runs on the server.
-
Base price plus rates
Each vehicle has a base price, a rate per distance and a rate per hour.
-
Minimum fare
A vehicle's minimum price is applied when a short trip would cost less.
-
Distance and hourly services
Price a trip from its distance, or a hire from the number of hours.
-
Recalculated on booking
A price sent by the browser is ignored. The server works the fare out again from the vehicle it resolved itself.
-
Your currency
Set the currency once in Settings and it is used in the wizard, the admin and the emails.
Every vehicle, described once
What the customer sees in the wizard is what you entered in the fleet screens.
-
Vehicles
Name, description and a photo from the media library, with a draft or published status.
-
Passenger and luggage capacity
A booking for more passengers than a vehicle carries is refused on the server.
-
Vehicle types
Group vehicles into categories such as saloon, van or minibus.
-
Drafts stay private
Only published vehicles are quoted and can be booked. A draft never reaches the public site.
-
Display order
Decide the order vehicles and types appear in.
Different forms for different services
An airport transfer form and an hourly hire form can live on the same site with their own rules.
-
Saved locations
Airports, stations, ports and hotels saved once, with an address and coordinates, and used as a vehicle's base.
-
Several booking forms
Create as many forms as you need and show each one with its own shortcode id.
-
Service types per form
Choose which services a form offers and which one it opens on.
-
Return trips per form
Decide form by form whether customers can book the way back in the same booking.
-
Lead time per form
A form can ask for more notice than the site-wide rule, checked on the server.
Only take bookings you can serve
The rules are checked when the fare is quoted and again when the booking is placed.
-
Minimum lead time
Refuse a pickup that is too soon to dispatch.
-
Booking horizon
Limit how many days ahead a customer can book.
-
Business hours
Opening hours for each day of the week.
-
Blackout dates
Close specific dates such as holidays.
-
Your site's timezone
Pickup times are read in the timezone set in WordPress, so a booking near midnight is judged against the right day.
From new booking to completed ride
A list for working through bookings and a calendar for seeing the week.
-
Bookings list
Search and filter by status, with colour-coded status chips.
-
Booking detail
The trip, the customer, the price breakdown and the payment on one page, where you change the status.
-
Calendar
Pickups by month, week, day or list, coloured by status. Click one to open the booking.
-
Booking reference
Every booking gets its own reference number, shown to the customer and on the invoice.
-
Dashboard
Bookings, revenue and paid revenue against the previous 30 days, with upcoming pickups and the latest bookings.
Paid online or on the day
Card payments go to Stripe's own checkout page. Your site never handles a card number.
-
Stripe Checkout
The customer pays on Stripe's hosted page and returns to your site.
-
Signed webhook
A booking is marked paid when Stripe's signed webhook says so, not when the customer comes back.
-
Offline methods
Cash, wire transfer and pay on pickup for customers who do not pay online.
-
Customer emails
An email when the booking is received, when its status changes and when it is paid.
-
One switch for email
Turn notifications off entirely in Settings while you test.
Who drives, and what it costs today
Pro adds the people and the pricing exceptions a real fleet runs on.
-
Drivers Pro
Keep your drivers with their contact details and photo.
-
Assign a driver Pro
Pick the driver on the booking page. Their name appears on the invoice.
-

-

Service type, day of the week, date range, distance and passengers. Every condition on a rule must match.
-
Priority and stop Pro
Rules run in priority order and stack. A rule can stop the ones after it.

A fixed price between two locations, offered as its own service in the wizard.

The parts a customer never sees
Access control, languages and a REST API for developers.
-
Its own capability
Managing bookings needs a dedicated capability, not a general editing one, because bookings hold customer details.
-
Deleting is separate
Removing records needs a second capability, so day-to-day work can be delegated without it.
-
Translation ready
Every interface string is translatable and a translation template is included.
-
REST API and hooks
A versioned REST API, with actions when a booking is created, changes status or is paid, and a filter on the fare.
-
A modern admin
One menu item, a sidebar, search, a light and a dark theme and a fullscreen mode.
