Most WordPress testimonial plugins still feel like 2018: a flat list of quotes, no structured data, no collection workflow, no video. Plugixa Testimonial rebuilds the stack on a React admin over a REST API, with star ratings, client photos, optional video, and Review and AggregateRating structured data emitted by the free build, so a rating can show up in search results without an SEO plugin.

Collect testimonials with the built-in frontend submission form, protected by reCAPTCHA, route them through an admin approval queue, then show them with whichever of the four layouts fits the page: grid for a homepage strip, slider for an about page, list for a sidebar, masonry for a dedicated wall. A layout is saved as a view, and a shortcode or the Gutenberg block points at one, so changing the view changes every page using it.

Almost all of that is free. The submission form, the approval queue, video testimonials, custom fields, categories, social-proof popups, email testimonial requests, multilingual support, the Elementor widget, the WooCommerce product tab and the full REST API all ship in the free build. Pro adds three things: importing reviews from a Google Business Profile, exporting testimonials as a PDF, and a demo-data seeder for trying the plugin out.

After activating the plugin, go to Plugixa Testimonial in the WordPress admin menu. Click Add Testimonial to create your first one. Each testimonial has a name, role, photo, quote, optional star rating (0-5), and optional video link or upload.
Use the [plugixa_testimonials] shortcode on any page, post or widget area. Add layout="grid", "slider", "list" or "masonry" to switch the layout, category="general" to filter, or limit="6" to cap the count. There is no carousel value: the horizontal one is called slider.

They can. The free build emits schema.org Review and AggregateRating markup on every page that renders testimonials, which makes them eligible for review rich results showing the star rating and author. Google decides whether to show a rich result; no plugin can guarantee it.
