Plugixa Recipe
Running a food blog on a generic plugin means losing the things that actually earn the traffic: structured recipe data, ingredients that scale with the servings, and a page somebody can cook from with their hands full. Plugixa Recipe keeps recipes in twenty-four tables of its own rather than in post meta, with a React admin over a REST API, and that is why a servings scaler, a real ingredient library and an aggregate rating are possible at all.
The design is a saved thing. Four layouts ship, grid, masonry, list and slider, and each is stored as a view with its own colours, typography and card options. A shortcode or the Gutenberg block points at a view, so changing the view changes every page using it rather than sending you through forty posts. The block renders the real output live in the editor, and there is a native Elementor widget alongside it.
The free build is not a demo. Recipes, grouped ingredients and instructions, a seventeen-field nutrition label, reviews with photographs and admin replies, favourites, collections, meal plans and shopping lists, a frontend submission form, Recipe microdata, Open Graph and Twitter cards, WPML and Polylang, and the full REST API are all free. Pro adds the parts that save time rather than the parts that make it work: an AI generator that drafts from a topic, a URL or a PDF, custom fields, import and export for CSV, JSON and WP Recipe Maker, a per-recipe SEO analyzer, a WooCommerce product tab, and a JSON-LD block for rich results.

Getting Started
[plugixa_recipe] shortcode on any page or post, or the Plugixa Recipe block in the block editor. Pick one of the four layouts - grid, masonry, list or slider - on the shortcode, the block, or the saved View it points at.Recipes & Ingredients
Reviews & Collections
[plugixa_recipe collection="weeknight"]) or the block.Recipe microdata, which is machine-readable but does not carry the aggregate rating block. Pro adds a JSON-LD block with the aggregate rating, cook time and nutrition, and once Google indexes the page the rich snippet can show the star rating, cook time and calories. Google decides whether to show a rich result; no plugin can guarantee it.
