  • Fleet: vehicle categories, vehicle models (specs, image, deposit, minimum driver age, mileage limit) and the physical vehicles behind them, tracked by licence plate and VIN.
  • Locations: pickup and return points with weekly opening hours (split shifts supported), timezone and after-hours fee.
  • Duplicate plates are refused however they are typed; categories, models and locations still in use cannot be deleted.

v0.5.0

Improved 7

  • Rates: daily rates per vehicle model with length-of-rental tiers, per location or for all.
  • Bookings: availability under a lock, unpaid holds that expire, statuses from pending to completed, and a booking list and detail screen in the admin.
  • Booking form block and shortcode, with pay-at-pickup checkout and confirmation emails.
  • Extras, coupons and custom checkout fields.
  • Customer booking page with cancellation by rule (free until a set time before pickup).
  • Invoices, numbered without gaps and kept unchanged once issued.
  • The plugin now says so on the Plugins screen when its database tables could not be created, and lets an administrator try again.

v1.0.0

In this release 4

  • Payments recorded per booking: pay at pickup or by bank transfer, payments taken at the desk, and refunds, with the paid state worked out from that record.
  • The customer booking page says when a payment was refunded, and keeps showing the cancellation fee a booking was cancelled with.
  • The booking form and the desk's booking screen can ask for more search fields when an add-on needs them.
  • A search refused for a reason that applies to every vehicle now points at the field to change instead of listing each vehicle as unavailable.
