Introducing Plugixa CRM: Run Your Sales Team Inside WordPress

Plugixa Team 3 min read

Meet Plugixa CRM, a CRM that runs a sales team inside WordPress. Records live in the plugin’s own tables rather than as posts, so lists, filters and reports stay fast as your history grows.

It serves three audiences from one install: your staff work in the admin or on a page of your own site, your customers get a portal, and anyone can read your public knowledge base.

From first contact to closed deal

Accounts and contacts come first, and a contact can have as many email addresses and phone numbers as they really have. Leads convert into an account, a contact and an opportunity in one step. Opportunities move through customisable pipelines and stages on a drag-and-drop board, each stage carries a probability, and the weighted forecast adds it all up. Duplicate detection and merging keep the data clean.

Tasks, calls and meetings share one calendar with working hours, holidays and free/busy, so you can see when somebody is actually available.

Email and support in one place

Send email from any record, with templates and merge fields. Incoming mail is read over IMAP and turned into cases automatically, matched on Message-ID so a message read twice is stored once, and replies thread onto the case. Cases sit next to a knowledge base with a category tree, and you can publish articles to a public help centre that is rendered on the server.

The customer portal works as a block or a shortcode, and every panel in it stays off until you turn it on.

Campaigns without the risky parts

Campaigns, target lists and mass email are built in, and mass email goes out in batches. The unsubscribe link cannot be switched off, and open and click tracking is served from your own domain. Web-to-lead forms work as a block or a shortcode.

Reports and access control, free

Reports with charts and a report builder, multi-tab dashboards, PDF templates, and CSV or Excel import and export are all in the free edition. So are roles per entity and per action with an all, team, own or none scope, field-level rules and teams. For developers there is a REST API and over eighty actions and filters.

Free to start

Plugixa CRM is thirty-eight modules, and thirty-two of them are free. The six paid ones are custom fields on contacts, accounts, leads and deals, and five connectors: your site’s contact forms (Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms and Elementor), Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Twilio SMS and WooCommerce. Pro costs $69 a year for one site or $99 a year for unlimited sites.

The plugin connects to no third-party service on its own: every connection is one you set up. Plugixa CRM needs WordPress 6.5 and PHP 8.2 or later. Start with Getting Started, compare the editions in Free vs Pro, or see the Plugixa CRM page.
