Introducing Plugixa Easy Social Share Buttons 1.0.0: Share Buttons That Stay Fast

Plugixa Team 3 min read

Meet Plugixa Easy Social Share Buttons, version 1.0.0. It adds share buttons to your site without slowing it down or sending your visitors anywhere before they click.

The Overview screen with tiles for share clicks, share sets, networks, page weight and follow profiles above a chart of clicks per day

What it does

A page with buttons loads about 3.5 KB of stylesheet and script, gzipped, with no jQuery. Nothing is loaded from a social network, no cookie is set, and each button is a real link. A page with no buttons loads nothing from the plugin at all.

You build a row of buttons once, as a share set, in a five-step wizard with a live preview beside every step. A set has its own networks, style, layout and places. Each set can appear automatically, per post type, or be placed by hand with a shortcode, a block, an Elementor widget or a PHP template tag.

The Networks step of the share set wizard with the chosen networks on the left and a preview of the row on the right

Highlights

  • 41 destinations: the familiar networks, Bluesky, Threads and Mastodon, messaging apps, five AI assistants, and Copy link, Email and Print.
  • 27 button styles, three layouts, six sizes, and one colour of your own per set.
  • Ten places to show a set: above or below the content, floating at either side, sticky bars, a bar for phones, the WooCommerce product summary, or wherever you put it by hand.
  • A “+” button that opens every other destination, with no extra JavaScript.
  • Counts you can keep: share counts from the networks that still report them, counts of clicks on your own buttons, and count recovery after a move to https, a new domain or new permalinks.
  • A dashboard of clicks by day, network and post, recorded on your own server.
  • Follow buttons for your own profiles on 25 services.
  • Open Graph and X card tags that step aside when an SEO plugin already prints them.
  • Import from Sassy Social Share and AddToAny, previewed before anything is saved.

On phones

On a narrow screen, a share bar of icons sits at the bottom edge, within reach of a thumb.

Free and Pro

Everything above is free. Nothing in the free download is switched off, limited or waiting for a licence.

Pro adds the tools a publisher uses to grow: a Pinterest Save button on images with a pin image and description per post, quote boxes, a popup and a fly-in, short links, UTM tags, a “Save this post” email form, a share set per post, six more button styles, and a report of which placement earns the clicks, with longer ranges and CSV export. Pro costs €39 a year for one site or €59 a year for unlimited sites.
