Introducing Plugixa Permalink Manager 1.0.0: Full Control of WordPress URLs
Meet Plugixa Permalink Manager, version 1.0.0. It gives you full control of the addresses on a WordPress site. Give any post, page, product or category the exact address you want, generate thousands from a pattern, and keep every old address working through automatic redirects.

What it does
The URI Editor lists your content with its address in an editable field. Type new addresses straight into the list: changes are staged until you save, each one is checked as you type, and an address that is already taken is flagged with a free suggestion.
For whole content types there are permastructures: a pattern built from tags such as the category, the title or a custom field. A live preview shows what real items would become before anything changes.

Highlights
- Custom addresses for posts, pages, custom post types and terms, with WooCommerce products and product categories among them.
- Permastructures per content type and per language, with a live preview on real items.
- A Permalink box on edit screens, fields on term screens, a column in the content lists and a field in Quick Edit.
- Five update modes that decide, per item, whether an address is kept or regenerated when content is saved.
- Automatic redirects from old addresses and from the address WordPress would have used, in one hop, as 301, 302, 307 or 308.
- Bulk tools that run as resumable jobs: regenerate addresses and a health check, each with a preview before and an undo after.
- A change history for every item.
- Import from Permalink Manager and Custom Permalinks.
- Integrations with Polylang, WPML, Yoast SEO, Rank Math and SEOPress.
- A Debug screen that explains what any address does, a setup wizard, a REST API and a safe mode.

How it stays fast
Addresses are stored in the plugin’s own indexed tables and resolved without adding rewrite rules, so there is nothing to flush, and an address is found with a single indexed query.

Free and Pro
Everything above is in the free plugin. Nothing in it is time-limited or switched off pending payment.
Pro is a separate download that adds a Redirects screen with manual redirects and redirects to other sites, find and replace across addresses with regular expressions, WooCommerce extras such as the SKU tag and the shop page, tags for Advanced Custom Fields, an import of redirects from Rank Math, Yoast SEO Premium and SEOPress, and WP-CLI commands. Pro costs €39 a year for one site or €59 a year for unlimited sites.

Plugixa Permalink Manager needs WordPress 6.5 and PHP 8.2 or later, with pretty permalinks switched on. Start with Getting Started, compare the editions in Free vs Pro, or see the Plugixa Permalink Manager page.
