Free vs Pro - Plugixa Permalink Manager
The free plugin is the whole permalink engine. Pro is a separate download that adds six features on top of it.
Pro features are never locked copies of free ones. The free download does not contain that code, and it never asks for a licence key.

| Feature | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Redirects screen | Every redirect on the site in one list: switch off, change the type of, or delete any of them, and add manual and external redirects |
| Find and replace | Change part of many addresses at once, with regular expressions, a preview and undo |
| WooCommerce | The shop page wherever you want it, the SKU in addresses, attribute tags in the picker, and WooCommerce’s technical addresses protected |
| Advanced Custom Fields | Field values in addresses, including relational fields, updated when the fields change |
| SEO redirect import | Bring in the exact-match redirects of Rank Math, Yoast SEO Premium and SEOPress |
| WP-CLI | The bulk tools from the command line: wp plugixa-permalinks |
Products on the free plugin
Products and product categories are ordinary content to the free plugin: they
get custom addresses, patterns and the %product_cat% tags. A shop can remove
/product/ and /product-category/ from its addresses without Pro. Pro adds
what is specific to WooCommerce.
Going from free to Pro
Install Pro in place of the free plugin. Both use the same database tables and settings, so every address, redirect and setting is there when Pro starts. Nothing is converted and nothing moves.
Going back to free
The data stays. Redirects you added on the Redirects screen keep working; they
are simply no longer listed. Addresses built with %sku% keep their current
value until they are next regenerated; the free plugin does not know the tag,
so an item set to update on save loses the SKU part at its next save.
