Submission settings — Plugixa FAQ

The Submission tab controls the frontend FAQ submission form — [plugixa_faq_form]. Visitors submit questions; admins moderate and publish them.

Go to Plugixa FAQ → Settings → Submission.

Options

Key Default Notes
submission_enabled false Master toggle for the [plugixa_faq_form] shortcode.
submission_form_style inline inline (embedded) or modal (popup).
submission_required_fields ['question', 'submitter_name', 'submitter_email'] Array of field keys that must be filled. Available: question, answer, category, submitter_name, submitter_email.
submission_success_message Thank you! Your FAQ has been submitted for review. Shown after a successful submit.
submission_default_status draft draft, pending, or published. Publishing directly is risky — use only for trusted communities.
submission_notify_admin true Email the admin (admin_email) on each new submission.
submission_recaptcha_enabled false Apply reCAPTCHA to the form. Requires Captcha settings configured.

Moderation flow

  1. Visitor submits via [plugixa_faq_form].
  2. FAQ is created with the status from submission_default_status.
  3. If submission_notify_admin=true, admin gets an email.
  4. Admin reviews in FAQs → (filter: status = draft/pending), edits, and publishes.
