Blocks - Plugixa Chauffeur
Plugixa Chauffeur 1.0.0 does not register a Gutenberg block. You will not find a “Plugixa Chauffeur” block in the block inserter. In the block editor, the booking form is added with the Shortcode block that comes with WordPress.
Adding the form with the Shortcode block
-
In Plugixa Chauffeur -> Booking Forms, use Copy shortcode on the form you want.
-
Edit the page where the form should appear.
-
Add a block and search for Shortcode.
-
Paste the shortcode into the block, for example:
[plugixa_chauffeur_booking_form id="1"] -
Update or publish the page.
The editor shows the shortcode as text. The wizard itself appears on the published page and in the page preview, not inside the editor.
Other places
- Classic editor - paste the shortcode straight into the content.
- Page builders - use the builder’s shortcode or text element.
- Block themes and the Site Editor - the Shortcode block can also be placed in a template or a template part, so the form appears wherever that template is used.
- Widget areas - add a Shortcode block to the widget area.
Layout
The wizard fills the width of the block it sits in. Put the Shortcode block in a column or a group to control its width.
What to do next
- The shortcode and its attribute are covered in Shortcodes.
- What appears on the page is covered in Booking wizard.
