Plugixa Team
Plugixa Team shows the people behind a site. Members live in the plugin’s own database tables, not as posts with meta stuck to them, and any page can render them through whichever of the eight layouts suits it.
The three things worth understanding
Almost everything else follows from these.
A member is a record, not a post. First and last name, job title, department, bio, photo, email, phone, location, social profiles, skills with levels, a ribbon, a hire date and a reporting line. Because it is a real table, a directory of four hundred people stays as fast as a directory of four.
A view is a saved design. Layout, colours, typography, spacing, which fields show, how photos crop, whether there is a group navigation and how pagination behaves: all of it is saved under a name. Ten panels, each with a live preview beside it.
A shortcode points at a view. Change the view and every page using it changes too. That is what stops a redesign turning into a find-and-replace across forty posts.
